Elastic tape applied to support a joint or muscle without locking it down, so you can keep moving while things settle. Used for a joint that feels unstable, a muscle that tires too quickly, or to take load off an area while you build back up. Stays on for a few days, showers included. It is an add-on to treatment, not a treatment on its own.
